Hi, all Independent Movie Lovers.
You are invited meet at 7 pm, on Friday the 17th of April. This meeting is at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square, Dublin.
We will discuss the film:
Two Prosecutors (2025), directed by Russian director Sergey Loznitsa. The IFI is the only cinema now showing this movie, and lists it under the original title Zwei Staatsanwälte.
We will also discuss the movie:
Amélie (2001), directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet. This is the live-action movie from 2001, not the unrelated animated movie 'Little Amélie' currently in cinemas.
We will watch the movies independently, and meet for discussion on Friday the 17th of April, at 7 pm, at the Café on the ground floor of the Light House Cinema, Smithfield Square.
Two Prosecutors, under the title Zwei Staatsanwälte, is showing at the Irish Film Institute (IFI), Eustace St, until Thursday the 9th of April, with one performance each day, subtitled.
Amélie is available for online rental on Sky Store, Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.
