Independent Tutors Unite! Our goal is to create opportunities for independent local tutors to find students without having to give up any of their hard earned money to large corporations. Let's stop being used as a cog in EdTech's uberized, gig economy that prioritizes investors and executives over tutors and students. We do all the real work, so we should keep the money we earn! We hope to build a community of like-minded tutors in the DC Metro area that will help us to successfully launch a student/tutor matching service built for tutors by tutors. From a prototype created by an active, local math tutor in Arlington, we need your input on the direction, tone, and features we need to make it work for all of us.
