Hello Everyone,
My parents moved here a year ago and its been very hard to find a social circle for them as my father is mute and deaf. He uses Indian sign language to communicate and its been hard to find people with same language.
We have been to couple of ASL (American Sign Language) camps and events and also tried community centers but its been difficult to find a social circle for him.
I have been looking for people of any age, male or female, who speaks and understand Indian sign language and like to connect with similar people. My family has been communicating with my father in sign language, including my six year old daughter :) I hope to create some network through Meetup for people who cannot hear or speak, or both and connect them and their families.
