Hello Everyone!
Our groups purpose is connecting creative and highly sensitive individuals in a loving and nurturing atmosphere.
Many of us process deeply and experience mindfully. We may need healing from lives of misunderstanding or loneliness. Some of us may feel dismissed or forgotten.
Do you need creative connection?
Do you need deeper conversations?
Do you give yourself anytime to create or try something new?
Meetup’s are held at my studio to make art, build, color, paint or anything that aids in connecting us as we use our hands and share our experiences. NO ART EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. We focus on art, conversation, growth, building, creativity and sensory explorations. The group is NOT focused on anyone teaching or committing to more than anyone else. We come together as equals and commit to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
Music, Art, Poetry and anything creative is encouraged! This can include coloring, clay, fabric, drawing or anything you find personally creative. All creatives and sensitive individuals are welcome!
Let's all work together to contribute ideas, group projects and any materials or get-togethers you would like to suggest. If you feel led to share your art with everyone, please do so and we can make an event for you! Come and go as you please.
Whether you're a veteran artist or trying something new, I welcome you to come and join in the fun. Find your happy place! My goal is to create a friendly and inclusive environment where everyone at any skill level can enjoy creating, building, sharing and collaborating while meeting new people and making new friends.
To ensure lots of great snacks and art materials are provided, a small contribution is encouraged. I have several ways to donate. A donation jar will be available by the door. I also have a donation option on the meetup site. Other options include Paypal(claymansouth@gmail.com), Cashapp ( $JeremySouth) and Venmo (@GermyClay). The meetup charge ($30 monthly), snacks and art supplies adds up quickly so any size donation is appreciated! Bring a snack(s), donate or whatever feels right to you. Helpful snacks to bring are Sparkling water, protein snacks and any fruit or veggie. My aim is to ensure that everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the meetup.
I believe this event will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals to come together and enjoy creative experiences while socializing with like-minded individuals. So, grab your favorite art project (or participate with one provided) and snack and join us for a great time.
Bring your paints, paper, computer, fabric, miniatures, legos, jewelry or anything else you would like to build or create with.
I will provide adult coloring books, beads, paper and paints (if needed), pencils, puzzle or legos. I will also provide a fused glass experience for a $10 donation.
I kindly request that you park in the west lot off 46th street and enter the larger building through the double red doors. (The breezeway connecting the Orthodox Church and the main church building) You will find plenty of signage inside the building to guide you where you need to go.
PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS NO ELEVATOR TO THE THIRD FLOOR. I HAVE 4 SHORT FLIGHTS OF STAIRS UP TO MY STUDIO.
My studio space is about 1000 square feet located in Northwood Christian Church. My address is 4550 Central Ave, Indianapolis. I am located on the third floor.
