Tour of WilderGarden Forest and Foraging Walk by the White River

Join us for a tour of the amazing Wildergarden forest in Broad Ripple.

Wildergarden is a new growth forest started in 1993 on a small plot in Broad Ripple. The owner will be giving us a private tour where we can learn all about native plants and trees and the process of converting lawns and turf grass into beautiful and nourishing wildlife habitats.

After the tour, anyone who wants to can join us for a walk along the Monon and foraging near the White River.

Note: Last year we had so much fun that we barely had time left to forage, so we might not forage this year if people just want to stay and hang out at Wildergarden for the full two hours or so.

Note: If you're going to be late an hour late or less for this event, that's okay! The property is small and you'll still be able to find us.
