Aging Parents, Honest Conversations: A Kitchen Table Sit-Down
A lot of us are quietly carrying something we don't talk about: aging parents, and all the decisions that
come with it. Health. Living arrangements. Money. Siblings who don't agree. The emotional weight of
watching someone you love get older.
This Saturday morning is a Kitchen Table conversation for members in that stage of life — or who can
see it coming. Not a lecture. Not advice. Just a room of people in similar situations, talking honestly.
We've run this topic before and it was one of our most meaningful gatherings. People left feeling less
alone. That's the point.
Format:
• Short member introductions
• Open-circle conversation: what members are thinking through
• Small-group breakouts at tables of 4–5 for deeper discussion
• Group share-back
• Informal coffee time afterward for anyone who wants to stay
Cap: 18 members. Smaller is better here — we want everyone to be heard.
What this isn't: Not a sales group. No products are offered or solicited. Nothing shared is legal, tax,
real estate, or investment advice — members are always encouraged to work with their own licensed
professionals before any actual decision.
