Cross-Border Families: The Everyday Reality of Being Rooted in Two Places
What's it actually like to live your life split between two countries? Not the romantic version — the real one. Phone calls at odd hours. Family who assumes you're richer than you are. Decisions you're expected to weigh in on from 7,000 miles away. Celebrations missed. Celebrations attended via video. This Teahouse is for members who know that life, and for the friends who want to understand it better. We'll sit together, share what the reality looks like for each of us, and compare notes on how people make it work (or don't).
Format:
• Introductions (name, where your two places are, one thing on your mind)
• Open-circle conversation
• Small-group discussion at two or three tables
• Group share-back
Cap: 18 members. In-person at MOTW.
What this isn't: Not a sales group. No products are offered or solicited. Nothing shared is legal, tax, real estate, or investment advice — members are always encouraged to work with their own licensed professionals before any actual decision.
