For members who already own property in two countries — and the ones quietly thinking about getting
there.
A meaningful share of our members are managing a home, an apartment, or a piece of land
somewhere outside the U.S. — sometimes by choice, sometimes inherited, sometimes "we just never
sold it." The day-to-day of running that life — a property manager you trust about 60%, repairs you
can't see, family who uses the property, taxes in two places — doesn't get talked about much because
it feels too specific.
This Teahouse is for comparing those notes directly. No expert. No script. Just members who've been
doing it, sharing what works, what doesn't, and what they wish they'd done differently.
What members usually want to talk about: finding and trusting a property manager from across the
world, taxes in two countries, handling family who uses the property, when to rent vs. leave empty,
currency timing for big repairs, insurance gaps, inheriting something abroad, eventually selling or
passing it on.
Format:
• Introductions (name, where your second property is, one thing you've been chewing on)
• Open conversation, member-led
• Small-group discussion at two or three tables
• Group share-back
Cap: 18 members. In-person at MOTW.
What this isn't: Not a sales group. No products are offered or solicited. Nothing shared is legal, tax,
real estate, or investment advice — members are always encouraged to work with their own licensed
professionals before any actual decision.
