Paul Gestwicki will share his experience in developing two Java-powered educational video games.

The first is Morgan's Raid, a game about Indiana's Civil War History that was created by 25 Ball State University students over three semesters. He will describe the design and development of the game as well as the significance of its entity system architecture.

The second project is Equations Squared, a math education game Paul developed that won the ETS Math Assessment Game Challenge. As part of this discussion, he will give special attention to PlayN, the Java-based cross-platform game programming library that powers the game.

We are also launching a new segment of our program this month. BC Forward is sponsoring Greg Goodin and George Reed who will be presenting on Recruiting Process and PM Best Practices.

As always, pizza and beverages will be provided and door prizes will be awarded at the end of the meeting.
