About us
Welcome to Gryphon's Perch in The Kingdom of Rising Winds. We meet up 3 to 4 times per week to craft or LARP medieval battles. The system we use for battles has foam safe swords and magic / classes. Full character creation and immersion. Tuesday is in person fighter's practice. Thursday in person or online craft night when we make medieval armor and foam swords. Sunday is in person battlegames. Once a month we have a Friday in person tabletop gaming night. Online there's a Saturday open mic bardic. Mondays during the winter there's an online medieval history lesson / movie and discussion. Four to six weekends out of the year we go camping together and LARP in the woods. We're hoping to attract new players and crafters. Most of our events get 20 to 40 attendees from outside of meetup. Amtgard is free to play. You don't need to bring anything. You can show up with zero notice in shorts and a t-shirt and we'll welcome you. Loaner equipment is readily available to all players.
