Finding a Balance Between Intellect and Emotion: Workshop and Discussion

Join us for a free two-hour personal development workshop under the trees at beautiful Holliday Park where we will discuss and explore creating more harmony and peace in our lives using our intellect and emotions.
Here's just a taste of what we'll be discussing and practicing during this workshop:
- When and how our mind and thoughts can be most helpful for us
- When and how our emotions and bodily sensations can be most helpful for us
- How to more easily switch our attention from our mind to our body and vice versa
- How to help the people in our lives by recognizing when they are communicating from their mind or emotions
We will do some writing exercises during this event, so I recommend you bring a pen and paper or your phone so you can take notes and write during the exercises.
We will begin the workshop with a 30-minute movement and breathwork session to help us relax and spark our creativity.
We will be sitting in a circle on the ground, so please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or chair so you can feel comfortable.

This is an outdoor event. In case of rain or extreme weather, the location will be changed and you will be notified through Meetup.
