Everyone is invited to come to Chuck Levin's Music Center[Performance Space] in Wheaton on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 2:30 pm.

Full Tentative Schedule:

2:30pm - 3pm Doors Open, informal networking, welcome
3pm - 6:10pm PANEL DISCUSSIONS
6:10pm - 7 pm Networking, refreshments available, and gear exhibition
7pm - 9:10pm FILM SCREENINGS
9:10pm - 9:30pm Award Presentations and Closing Comments
9:30pm - 11:59pm After Party at a local bar & restaurant

We will have three education panels planned from 3pm - 6:10pm: (please note the panels are subject to change)

• Filmmaking Process- a discussion of the process of filmmaking and distribution.
• Entertainment Law 101 - presented by Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA)
• Future of Filmmaking- a discussion of the technological advances that affect filmmaking, how to adapt, and what we can expect for the future of filmmaking. This may include a discussion on drones, virtual reality, and other key developments.

Networking reception will follow the panels. [Dinner is planned to be available for sale from Food Truck.]

Film Screenings will take place from 7:10pm - 9:10pm.

The filmmakers will get to introduce their film live to the attending audience and answer some brief Q&A.

"Wheaton Award" - Jury Award for Best Community Story
"Kamen Grand Prize" - Jury Award for Best Student Film

Rules & Terms If selected as a participating filmmaker, you must be able to attend the Nov 10, 2017 festival. A refund will be provided to all selected filmmakers. We will only consider submissions from: filmmakers living in the mid-Atlantic region -or- for films that have some connection to the mid-Atlantic region (story, subject, location, characters, etc). Please list your local town and state of residence upon submission of your film (required*).

Tickets There are half day or full day tickets available for the festival. The full day tickets give you access to all the events for the full day on November 10th. The half day Panels Ticket will give you access to the first half of the festival from 2:30pm to 6:30pm.
