Global Game Jam (48 Hrs) - Chicago, IL

Join us for this year's Global Game Jam! We and teams all over the world will be making brand-new games in just a weekend. If you've never made a game before, this is a great way to start! If you're an old hand, it's a great time to scratch that new project itch!

This year's jam will be hybrid in-person and online; our event will be 48 hours in total, spanning from Friday to Sunday. You must be signed up on our page on the official Global Game Jam site to be acknowledged as a participant, and you must be 18 years of age or older.

Friday, January 30th: 5:30 PM | Global Game Jam Kick Off | ONLINE via Discord

• Meet your fellow jammers
• Watch the GGJ keynote and theme announcement
• Brainstorm game ideas with us
• Join a team

Saturday, January 31st: 10:00 AM – 4 PM | On-site at Harold Washington Library and Online

• Join us for the traditional GGJ Saturday Breakfast
• Collaborate with your team on your jam project

Sunday, February 1st: 5:00 PM | Global Game Jam Ends

• Submit your game on the official website
• Present your work to the other jammers
• Play everyone else's games
