Indie Hackers Cape Town – First Event of the Year

We’re kicking off our first Indie Hackers Cape Town event of the year and bringing together people who love building things, whether that’s products, companies, experiments, side projects, or entirely new paths.
This event is for:
Builders, makers, and tinkerers
Engineers, designers, and people working in tech
Founders, solo entrepreneurs, and independents
Anyone curious about creating, shipping, and learning by doing
You don’t need a startup, a pitch deck, or a big idea to belong here. If you’re actively building, exploring, or figuring things out - you’re in the right room.
We’re intentionally working toward a more balanced, inclusive community and strongly encourage women and underrepresented voices in tech and entrepreneurship to apply. Indie Hackers Cape Town is about thoughtful conversation, shared learning, and supporting each other’s journeys - not posturing or gatekeeping.
Important:
Attendance for this event is approval-based. A short application form will be shared, and only approved attendees will be admitted. This helps us keep the group intentional, respectful, and aligned with the spirit of the community.
