What we’re about
I - Who the Indie Music Mumbai group is for:
1. Musicians who want to create and perform their own music regardless of musical style or genre or what people say
2. Passionate musicians around Mumbai who do not want to box their art
3. Talented artists who long to experiment with music
II - Who the Indie Music Mumbai group is NOT for:
1. People who are looking for dates, one night stands, hooks ups, etc (No F***in’ way)
2. People who want to sit around a campfire and sing Kumbaya (or other songs like Kal Ho Na Ho or Country Roads).
3. Bathroom Singers
III - What We Aim to Achieve:
1. Create a platform where musicians can meet other musicians
2. Indie Artists can land gigs and eventually gain their own following (if such a following doesn’t already exist)
3. Exchange of musical ideas, concepts, and whatnot
There will be a screening for those interested in becoming members (sorry but it’s so that nobody from section II sneaks in). Do send us a recording. It doesn’t need to be on Youtube. A simple phone recording will do (Covers accepted).
