Details
Hosted by Joseph A. Eulo, Founder and Community Director, Pam Elise Harris, Director of Community Engagement, and Brandon Ascari
with special pre-event help from Cylinda McAlister
Join the NYC | Indie Film Collective (IFC) for night of industry networking with independent actors, artists, and filmmakers while having fun. It’s Mad Libs, the game we used to play but with a cinematic twist. For our October meetup, we will be playing Mad Libs with scenes written by our very own IFC screenwriters.
For those of you who have never played Mad Libs, they’re stories with words missing, but they give you the part of speech that the word is. You ask someone else to supply the missing words, and then you read back the story and it’s funny because the words don’t go with it. For more information, visit madlibs.com .
But for this event, we’re not reading the stories back. You are! Each scene will have two characters to be played by our very talented IFC actors who will be chosen at random. If you would like to be in our pool of actors, sign up at https://forms.gle/aH8SPjoURpfg8ytFA .
If you’re casting a project, this is a great opportunity to see the talent that IFC has to offer.
