In Wonhyobong, ‘Wonhyo’ is taken from the name of a famous Buddhist monk in history. Among the many hiking courses on Bukhansan Mountain, Wonhyobong is suitable for beginners but has beautiful scenery.

+++ Preparation +++
* Hiking shoes(Most important for safety!)
* Water(Thermos recommended in winter)
* Extra clothes to change into during activity
* Gloves (for Keep warm or non-slip use)
* Snacks & light Lunch (If we meet after 1pm, no preparation is required)
* Raincoat (in case of rain)
* Crampons (if it snows)

+++ Itinerary +++
* 11:00 Meet at Gupabal Station (Exit# 2 outside) on Line 3

* 11:00 ~ 11:40 Take bus number 8772, 34, or 704 and get off at Bukhansanseong Fortress Visitor Center.

* 11:40 ~ 17:00 Hiking (lunch in the mountain) 6km around.
북한산성 탐방센터 - 시구문 방향 - 효자원 4거리 - 서암문 - 원효봉 - 북문 - 상운사 - 대동사 - 등운각 - 서암사 - 계곡길 - 북한산성 탐방센터.
If we have enough stamina, we can go to Baekundae (approximately 4km round trip).
**The original course distance is approximately 6km. The extension distance to Baekundae is about 10km.**
