Labor Day Protest! "Workers Over Billionaires"

Details
This Labor Day, we are coming together for a peaceful protest: Workers Over Billionaires.
Columbia Center Blvd, Kennewick
Monday, Sept. 1 | 10AM to 12PM
While billionaires grow richer, working families are being left behind, struggling with housing, healthcare, and food. In 2023 alone, the wealth of U.S. billionaires grew by more than $1.5 trillion, while wages for average workers lagged behind inflation. This protest is about demanding an economy and a democracy that value people over profit.
In solidarity with local families, we are also collecting donations for Martha’s Cupboard, which provides essentials to neighbors in need, including those who are unhoused. Please bring toilet paper, diapers (sizes 1 to 5), travel-sized hygiene products, gloves, socks, ponchos, or cleaning supplies. Every contribution stays in the Tri-Cities to support our neighbors in need.
Labor Day belongs to the workers. It is a day to rise together, demand dignity, and fight for justice!
