On April 24, Sergio Cerda was detained during a citizenship interview in Yakima. After weeks in detention, he self-deported in June and is now living in Mexico for the first time in over 20 years. While he’s been helping his extended family, his wife Gabby and their children are carrying the weight of his absence here in the Tri-Cities.

This week, we’re gathering at their food truck, Hibachi Explosion, to show them they are not alone. Join us for a community Eat In where neighbors can come together, share a meal, and stand in solidarity with Gabby and her family.

📍 Hibachi Explosion (Bella’s Furniture lot, 7425 W. Clearwater, Kennewick)
🗓️ Thursday, September 25
⏰ 5–7 p.m.
✨ Please bring your own chair!

Let’s show their family that this community cares and that we will stand with them through this difficult time ❤️‍🩹
