Drop-in - Intermediate Volleyball

Good day, everyone.

This volleyball event is a drop-in intermediate level volleyball. we have two courts, and let's hope for 24 attendees.

You can sign in if you are an intermediate player.

Fees:

The fee is $12 payable by e-transfer to odvvolleyball@gmail.com.

Pre-registration is required. You will be added to a team once we receive your payment.

Time & Location:

440 Albert Street, downtown Ottawa K1R 5B5, Ottawa , ON

Sundays 3:00pm- 6:00pm.

You are responsible for bringing knee pads, knee braces, sports tape, etc

About the Game:

It is highly recommended to play position rotation. 5:1 or 4:2.

The games are played with three touches - to pass, set, and spike.

It is a round-robin style count to 25 count by 2.

There are no referees. the team will call their own fouls.

Co-Ed net heights will be used for each team.

The game is played mostly by adults, but sometimes talented youth players can join too if they wish. The minimum age requirement is 17 years old.

Fouls:

Touching the net when making a play on the ball

Serving from inside the court form the line.

Lifting the ball

Making contact with the ball twice in a row (a block doesn’t count as contact)

Making more than three contacts with the ball (a block doesn’t count as contact)

Having a foot completely into the opponent’s court.

Fouls will be more serious if you play intermediate level.

The game will be canceled if there are not enough players signed.
