Happy holidays, amigos! As we all know, the economy is changing a bit, and hard times are putting stress on families. Speaking for myself, I don’t have a lot to give, but I’d love to give a little to lighten someone’s load. Let’s try something new for the holiday season… Surprise a server!

OK, the idea is to gather monetary donations in advance of our Meetup so I can cash them out, put it all in a card, and discreetly give it to our server as we leave. I’m all about doing random acts of kindness in silence so this is not meant to be a big spectacle where we put the server on the spot. This is also not meant to take the place of tipping for our meal. I’m not putting a limit on attendance to this event so hopefully we can gather quite a few people, and gratuity would be included in our bills anyway.

This year has been completely loco, right?! I’m so thankful for meeting each and every one of you over the years that this group has been up and running! I truly appreciate the friendships, laughs, and memories I have made with each and every one of you! Let’s share our light and brighten someone’s holidays together!
