Intermediate Off-trail Backpacking trip
Details
This will be a more advanced off-trail bushwacking trip, consisting of hiking anywhere from 8 to 12 miles a day. Trip will use old roadbeds when available, but will also be up or down steeper hills and creek crossings. We will meet up a little early and then head off to cache some supplies near camping locations to alleviate carrying so much weight. Then we'll head off and find some dispersed camping about 8 miles out. Day two will be the longest day, after breaking camp expect a 10 to 12 mile route. The final day will likely be less than 9 miles back to the vehicles. If weather isn't great we might use more trails and limit off trail time when applicable.
Most camping sites I have found have enough places to spread out fairly well, and even divide into two groups if needed for privacy. If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!
