Join me for a mid-morning hike on Indy's North side at the Town Run Trail Park. Located at 5325 E. 96th Street, just East of Hazel Del Parkway. No admission and free parking.

The tail is used by both mountain bikers and hikers, and to accommodate both there is a directional guide that tells you by the day of the week which way each should go. The trail itself runs along the White River and is in a very wooded setting. Lots of ups and downs but nothing too difficult. There is often quit a bit of wildlife that can be seen and even a bald eagles nest. If we go the entire length the trail is 7 plus miles long. There is a convenient turn around at about the half way point before going under I465 if the going get too tuff.

I will plan on being there early to meet and greet and have a very corny joke to get us all laughing. Dogs on a leash are of course welcome to join. If we have a big turn out we will split into 2 smaller groups to to not impede any mountain bikers. In the event of inclement weather the day of or muddy trails from prior days' I will post a reschedule date.
