Beginner winter backpacking-Explore the HoosierNF 3

This will both a Saturday and Sunday day hike, with the option of camping at the trailhead. This will allow anyone to join for either or both days, similar to the October event. But also allow you to camp within 100 or so yards of your vehicle to bring whatever gear is needed to stay warm overnight. Or warm up in the middle of the night.
Day one we'll be hiking off trail around the area, showcasing some unique areas I've found. The hike will be around 10 miles, and then we will return to the parking area. Then if anyone else decides to stay, we'll set up camp and decide if we go into town for dinner or cook around the campfire. We'll break up camp in the morning, and then head off for another 7 or 8 mile trip starting at 10:30 am.
Expect temps anywhere from near 70 to around 40 degrees. If overnight temps drop much below 20 degrees, we can change the event to 2 day hikes.
