Backpacking Birdseye Trail in Hoosier National Forest

Join us backpacking the Birdseye Trail near Birdseye IN in the Hoosier National Forest. This will be a two night, 3 day backpacking trip, and the total milage will be under 15 miles. We will go in a short distance the first night and setup camp hike most of the distance on the second day (Saturday) and have a fairly short hike out on Sunday. We will visit several waterfalls that are along or near the trail (a little bushwacking).

-Well behaved dogs welcome
-Everyone is responsible for their own food
-There will be water available along the trail, bring a way to make it safe to drink.
-This will be beginner friendly, just ask if you have any questions.
-Keep an eye on the weather and pack appropriately.
-This trip is cross posted to the Ohio Valley Backpackers and Tri-State Hiking Events FB group too, it is only necessary to RSVP on one.
