Topic: Mastering Microsoft Fabric: From Ingestion to Insight

Abstract: I'll be covering the following topics:

• Fabric Ecosystem — an overview of Microsoft Fabric's core components and how they fit together.
• Lakehouses & Warehouses — the role each plays and when to use one versus the other.
• Dataflow Gen2 — how it's used for data ingestion and transformation within Fabric.
• Power BI — how reporting connects into the broader Fabric ecosystem.

As part of this session, I'll be walking through a live project demo:

• Importing data from Azure Data Lake Gen2 into a Lakehouse using Dataflow Gen2.
• Showcasing the Bronze, Silver, and Gold layer transformations using a Notebook.
• Building a Power BI report on top of the finalized Gold layer.
