Teacher's Treasures Tour

Come down to Teachers’ Treasures (1800 E. 10th St.) for a tour of their facility on Saturday, September 14th at 11:30am, clothing swap, and opportunity to visit an interactive lounge!

This organization is a resource for the Near Eastside Indianapolis for recycling and landfill diversion for individuals and companies looking to make conscious decisions with items that could be diverted from the landfill. A clothing swap will also be offered for those interested in participating in ICV’s (Indiana Conservation Voters) and ICC’s (Indy Climate Club) Green Halloween, as we reiterate the importance of the project guidelines that is to utilize second hand textiles and fabrics.

We will meet at the store for a tour to learn about how this non-profit’s mind for sustainability operates and impacts its partners on a national level, also met with a clothing swap. We will conclude the afternoon with drinks and social networking at the Tik Tok Lounge (2602 E 10th St) down the street!
