Experienced Player Looking for D&D 3.5 or 4E Group

I've been playing D&D (and many other RPGs) for about 15 years now. I'd say my gaming style is equal parts power-gamer and storyteller. I build strong characters, have a good head for tactics, and enjoy challenging combats. However, it's the ROLE-playing that really draws me into roleplaying. I tend to create characters with elaborate backgrounds and unique personalities and prefer campaigns with a good deal of interaction with NPCs and between PCs. I believe that a campaign should be woven around the PCs and focus on story and character development with interesting and challenging combats to spice it up.

I would like to get involved in a game that met every other week (preferably on a Sunday, but other days might be possible). I'm a non-smoker and would really prefer to game in a non-smoking environment. I can host games at my place on the east side, but am more than willing to travel for a good game.

I also have MANY years of experience as a DM. I don't really have the time to run a campaign right now (I work part-time and am a full-time pre-med student), but I would be more than happy to fill in occasionally if the regular DM needs a break. Also, though I'd like to stick to a single game/campaign for the most part, I'm also happy to change it up every now and again by playing something different (WEG Star Wars, Heroes, GURPS, Starfleet Battles, etc...).

If you need a player and think I might be a good match or have any questions for me, just reply here or shoot me a message.

There is a 3rd and 3.5 edition of dnd playing on sundays at the Arsenal Gameroom Cafe! The guy running the campaign is Jonathan Noobz. He is still looking for players. So if you show up at the Arsenal Cafe at 2 this sunday im sure there will be someone you can talk to about the game!

Hi Belethorn, as Ray mentioned, there's a lot of different D&D games we've got running at the Arsenal Game Room.

In addition to the Sunday 3.5 games, there are two 4E games open to new players on Wed (website here:) and an alternating Saturday one here: http://www.arsenalgam....

Jon's game that Ray mentioned is here: http://www.arsenalgam...

Just wanted to make sure everyone knows there is no meeting this week. Jon will be out of town, so no campaigning for us. If anyone would still want to get together and build/roll characters shoot me an email and we'll set up a time. I know it's a holiday weekend, so this probably works out for everyone.

Well, I might try checking this out. Its Every Sunday? (Except today of course).

I have been looking for a group for a while, and it sounds interesting :) So, perhaps I will drop by sometime today, the address on Virginia Ave I am guessing... thats the one I found when looking it up.
