AI + Business

AI is progressing faster than we can keep up with. This is a meetup to discuss the latest AI tools and trends, with an eye towards using them for disruptive businesses.

I'm an entrepreneur building an AI based company. I've been working with GPT and other LLMs for over a year and can share details of our experiences. But I also want to learn from the community about what else is happening and where business opportunities are.

Examples of topics I consider interesting (but just examples)...
- GPT App Store apps - window dressing or value?
- Latest AI party tricks from GPT4o, Eleven Labs, Microsoft Research, Mid Journey, Deep Mind, etc.
- Will more AI value creation come from large companies or startup companies?
- Is chat with documents lowest hanging fruit for AI in the enterprise? If not, what is?
- Interesting startups using AI platforms (rather than the platforms themselves).
- Business use cases for AI that can understand images/video
- Business use cases for AI that can generate images/video

Prolly not going to talk about...
- GPT5 - what and when? (too speculative)
- Will AI destroy or save humanity? (interesting, but not this meetup)
- How does AI work? (save that one for another time)
- Where to start when implementing gen-ai? (save too)
- Will Scarlett Johansson win her lawsuit? (meh)
