Wondering what to read next? You wish to explore "Book X," but somehow "Book Y" catches your attention and holds your time hostage in pages. "Book Z," on the other hand, is the one you think you should read to improve your life, because only then does busy reading become busy living, and progress is assured!
But what about when life is good enough to read for pleasure? Or bad enough to escape through fantasy? Do the books we choose shape our character? Or do they simply reveal what we already are? Too philosophical, I know… Ralph Waldo Emerson — whom I’ve never read — said: “I cannot remember the books I have read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.”

This discussion aims to explore the reading choices we make and the connecting power of books: how they link people to ideas, ideas to ideas, and most importantly, people to people... Let’s meet and talk books.
