How to have Conversations that Matter about Menopause and Money Webinar

Details

It can take a long time to be comfortable talking about menstrual health, menopause and womens health issues more generally.

And money is a whole nother topic again.

For some people who are pre menopausal, you may experience pain in unpredictable waves, uncomfortable situations, hot flushes and you might need to take time off. Not only is it humiliating, but it also makes you feel out of control, because there is no discernable trigger to each episode, and you worry that you are perceived as weak at work as a result. There is fear of being judged and if you are an employer/ or colleague, family member or friend, it can be hard to know how to start the conversation.

There are times when your world can get very small and it feels like any semblance of security will slip through your fingers any moment now. It's not true of course, it is fear and flawed thinking that might cause you to feel that way. Truth be told, many of us are still not comfortable talking about menstrual health, but conversation is always an important part of change.

In this webinar you will learn:

  • techniques and how to tap into information about adjusting your state of mind and build your knowledge base
  • how to approach the conversation, identifying who needs to be involved in that situation
  • examples of what leading businesses, countries and employers are implementing to help women with symptoms in the workplace
  • potential impact on your financial situation and what you might need to consider
  • why it is important to pay attention to your personal and business finances
  • five tips on how to improve your everyday money management

The crossover between work and personal life is key here, so with Lisa White facilitating you’ll cover in this session common symptoms experienced by women and how to build support for areas that might be impacted such as your work, finances, family and friends.
