Dear devs, startups, and tech enthusiasts,

We are happy to invite you to the first Infobip Connect Meetup in Toronto! Our event will be hosted in the Clubhouse Toronto.

The mission of our meetup is to present local tech initiatives and to introduce Infobip Developer Community tools and solutions, which are increasingly popular among developers and Infobip Startup Tribe that help startups from all over the globe achieve their goals.

⏳ About speakers:

Yuri Navarro
Since 2006, Yuri Navarro has been working with both government and businesses to support the growth of the Canadian startup and technology investment sector.In his role as Managing Partner of Kanata Ventures, Yuri brings his unique mixture of public and private sector experience to help expand investment options for promising startups in some of the world’s most rapidly developing markets. By supporting a global community of founders and their investors Yuri is on a mission to connect tech ecosystems and fund the world’s best startups. In addition to his work at Kanata Ventures, Yuri also acts as the country investment lead for the Corporate Venture Capital Fund of a Fortune 500 Company.
Yuri is a graduate of Ryerson University’s Commerce program and George Brown College’s Financial Planning program and holds several designations with the Canadian Securities Institute.

Laura RodrĂ­guez
Laura is a software engineer with over 15 years of dedicated experience in the software development industry. Currently, she works at Okta, where she plays a pivotal role in crafting open-source Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Command-Line Interfaces (CLIs) for the .NET community.
Beyond her professional achievements, Laura enjoys outdoor activities, nature, traveling, art, reading books, and playing video games in her free time, embracing a rich and diverse range of hobbies that bring balance and enrichment to her life.

Roy Pereira
Roy is an accomplished 4x founder and technology innovator. He is renowned for his track record of establishing successful startups in Canada and his influential senior executive roles within publicly-traded companies across North America. Roy was the visionary behind CalendarHero, an AI-powered scheduling assistant and Shiny Ads, a platform that empowered publishers to manage and monetize their ad inventory.
Today, Roy is building Unified.to, a Unified API developer platform designed for B2B customer-facing integrations. Under his leadership, Unified.to enables developers to integrate once to launch multiple integrations within hours, a breakthrough that significantly accelerates time-to-market and allows software companies to expand their lifetime revenue.
Roy remains driven by his profound passion for harnessing technology and empowering great teams to tackle real-world challenges.

Mike Elsmore
Mike has been causing chaos on the internet for more than a decade. He’s been around to see a lot happen (and sometimes help it along). He loves building and learning in the open and sharing what he gains along the way. Currently, he's a developer advocate working with the SDKs at Infobip.
