Welcome to the ISSA National Capital Chapter!
We’re proud to be one of the most vibrant and influential cybersecurity communities in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area. As part of ISSA International, Washington, DC chapter (issa-dc.net) is dedicated to supporting cybersecurity professionals at every stage of their careers through education, networking, and professional development opportunities. Whether you're new to the field or a seasoned expert, there's something here for everyone.
Our members represent a diverse and dynamic mix of information security professionals across government agencies, the military, non-profit organizations, and companies of all sizes.
Chapter Meetings:
We meet virtually every third Tuesday of the month, featuring expert guest speakers and industry leaders who share insights on the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in cybersecurity. We also host occasional in-person events in the D.C. area to offer even more opportunities for networking, collaboration, and community building.
Who Can Join:
Membership is open to all practicing cybersecurity professionals and those with a strong interest in the field. New members are always welcome — whether you're just beginning your cybersecurity journey or bringing years of experience to the table.
