What we’re about
Austin IT Managers Roundtable is a highly curated circle of Austin’s senior IT leaders, capped at ten members, designed for focused, peer‑to‑peer collaboration on the most pressing enterprise technology challenges.
Who We Are:
We’re experienced IT managers and directors from across Austin’s tech spectrum—whether you run infrastructure teams, oversee security, streamline service delivery, or manage DevOps. Our goal is to accelerate each other’s success by sharing real‑world lessons, war stories, and battle‑tested strategies.
What We Do:
- Every month we gather at a local craft brewery from 6:00 to 8:00 PM for an intimate roundtable that includes brief lightning talks on hot topics such as cloud resilience, AI operations, and compliance; deep‑dive breakout discussions in small groups; and open -- Q&A and troubleshooting sessions. Between meetings, members connect via a confidential Slack channel to share advice, swap resources, and coordinate upcoming events. We also provide member‑only resources like curated slide decks, tool recommendations, and policy templates.
Why Join:
- With just ten spots, everyone has a voice—no one gets lost in the crowd. You’ll gain real insights from peers (no sales pitches or marketing fluff) and walk away with actionable strategies you can deploy immediately. Over time you’ll build meaningful, lasting connections with fellow IT leaders in Austin.
Membership Criteria:
- Role: You must currently lead or manage an IT team with at least three direct reports.
- Commitment: Attend at least 75 percent of roundtables and participate actively in discussions.
- Confidentiality: What’s shared here stays here—no social‑media blurbs or recordings.
- No Vendors: This is purely peer‑driven dialogue; vendor representatives and recruiters are not permitted.
If you meet these criteria and value honest, hands‑on collaboration, we’d love to welcome you to the table.
