InfoSec Hamilton Monthly Meetup for July 2025

Session description:
This month, we are going to do a hands on lab using Cisco XDR (eXtended Detection and Response). The entire evening will be a heads down & hands on lab night.

Notes:
1. You need a laptop to participate so either bring your laptop or bring a friend with a laptop so you can share and go through the lab together.

2. You need to register for this one in advance in two places:

• Here - make sure you RSVP here on meetup so we can get a count of who's coming (as always); and
• Cisco XDR Workshop Registration site - you need to register in advance so that your account is confirmed and provisioned in advance. You need to use a corporate (or school related) email account to register. No gmail, hotmail, etc. allowed.

Your speaker & host:
Todd Dow (linkedin) is a Technical Security Solutions Architect at Cisco. He is also a writer, speaker and founder of InfoSec Hamilton. Todd has over 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field performing penetration tests, providing security architecture and compliance consulting and creating, developing and leading high performing security teams – this included working as the CISO at two organizations: First Ontario Credit Union and ArcelorMittal Dofasco. Todd maintains CISSP, CISA and PMP credentials and he has also earned an Hon BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from the University of Toronto.
