Workshop #6: Monitoring options in AKS

Dear community,

Welcome to the next workshop at the series of AKS workshops!
This time we will look at monitoring aspects of AKS and you will learn:

• What monitoring options are available for AKS
• How to monitor AKS with Azure Monitor
• How to collect Prometheus Metrics with Azure Monitor
• How to monitor AKS with Prometheus and Grafana
• How to query Azure Monitor Metrics in Grafana

Agenda:

Estimated time for workshop completion is between 3 and 4 hours.

Prerequisites:
Please spend some time before the workshop and make sure that you have installed/registered/configured all prerequisites.

• Microsoft Teams
• Visual Studio Code with Bicep plugins installed
• Windows Terminal (for those of you who are on Windows)
• an active Azure account
• installed az cli
• installed git
• installed Helm
