Alli, a returning attendee as well as member who's given me multiple topics and has presented a couple of them to the group, is back. Here's her topic this time (in her own words) as well as some example questions for the planned conversation:

I propose AI predictive decision making as a topic - should we allow AI to make decisions for us on an individual level? societal level? what types of decisions can we outsource and which are best left to humans? what guard rails do we need for the decisions we relinquish? should AI predictions be actioned upon - if it predicts tragedies or crimes should we intervene? what risks are there to humans in relinquishing some of their decision making capabilities?
