Opposites (Polarity)

Is polarity inherent in all life experience, meaning, not just as the encompassing nature of reality itself but in relative, individual reality also? Do opposites exist for our ability to leverage it, or for some other reason? Do opposites just exist in the same way that everything just “is”? Is polarity just conceptual? Is it either primarily or all (entirely) our incorrect perception of humans and/or non-human life? or of life itself?
