A comment I read online (outside of meetup) made a distinction between their preference, to say least, as a listener of music compared to the artistic aspect. From a more zoomed out view, I myself will use the word "creator" in place of saying "the artistic aspect" of music for the following. I myself see that this could be a wider topic, that is: do you think of and/or feel music differently as a listener compared to as a creator? I could zoom out further with that question, because it doesn't HAVE to be me talking to music creators, here: Do you think a music creator would feel/think about music differently between the creation of it vs. as just a listener (if not; what's your own firsthand creator experience)?

Do you think (or would think) there's little to no difference between creating music and listening to it as far as preference, mood etc.?

Do you think it's best that there's a distinction between your preferences, mood etc. as a music creator compared to being a listener?

Actually, is it best that there's no significant distinction? Why or why not?
