About us
Ink and Action Screenwriting Society is a relaxed meetup for anyone who loves writing for the screen, whether youβre on your first short film or your tenth feature. We get together to talk story, swap pages, read scenes out loud, and figure out the practical side of screenwriting, from dialogue and structure to pitching, rewriting, and finding collaborators.
You donβt need industry credits or a finished script to join us. Just bring an interest in filmmaking, a willingness to listen, and whatever youβre working on, even if itβs only an idea scribbled in a notebook. We aim for feedback thatβs honest but kind, and conversations that help everyone leave a little more motivated than when they arrived.
Most meetings include a bit of writing, a bit of discussion, and plenty of time to meet other local writers, directors, actors, and crew. If youβre looking for a friendly place to develop your scripts and maybe find the people to help bring them to life, come along and say hello.
