Ink What Hurts
Details
Some things never really leave.
They stay in your body.
In your silence.
In the way you hold back.
In the way you go blank when something matters.
In the way you keep functioning while something deeper in you is still carrying too much.
In the way you remain stuck.
Maybe you have spent years pushing through.
Maybe you have learned how to look fine while feeling flooded, shut down, ashamed, numb, or full of words you cannot seem to get out right.
Maybe you are tired of carrying hard things by yourself.
This pilot room is for that.
This is a small first gathering for people who have lived through hard things and want a place where some of it can begin to come out without shame.
This room is for the person who has been swallowing words for years.
The person who keeps saying “I’m fine” because it is easier than explaining.
The person who has been strong for so long that even needing a gentler place feels unfamiliar.
The person who has had to do too much of life alone.
If something in you has been needing a place like this, you are welcome here.
