Inside the Frame: Writing Stories from Visual Art

Do you ever look at a painting and wonder what happened right before the brush touched the canvas—or what the figures are hiding just out of view?

Join InkFlash Writing Studio for "Inside the Frame," a 2-hour virtual creative writing workshop designed to help you unlock rich, atmospheric prose using famous visual art as your guide.
Instead of staring at a blank page or struggling to build a scene from scratch, we will step into a virtual gallery featuring iconic works by Edward Hopper and René Magritte. Together, we will learn how to "read" a canvas like a writer—stealing techniques from composition, harsh lighting, body language, and physical objects to make our scenes breathe.
