Book Club - The Screwtape Letters

About the book
Our next book is one of Lewis's best-loved works: The Screwtape Letters. It's written as a series of letters from a senior demon, Screwtape, to his clumsy young nephew Wormwood. Funny, unsettling, and surprisingly sharp, it looks at temptation, the ways we fool ourselves, and the small everyday choices that make up a moral life. The idea is simple, but by turning every virtue and vice upside down, Lewis gets us to notice the little compromises that quietly shape who we are. The result is a book that's both very funny and quietly challenging.
Come with your favourite letters, the lines that made you laugh, and the ones that stung a little.
