HOUSE CONCERT WITH ALEX MASON

Alex Mason is a folk singer-songwriter based in Toronto Ontario Canada. His songs and sound reflect a careful look at the emotional landscape of life. Raised in rural Ontario, his mother was a piano teacher and his influences range from Sharon Van Etten and Frightened Rabbit to Leonard Cohen, combining the earnestness of early aughts indie with the lyrical richness and symbolism of 1960s and 70s singer songwriters.

Since the release of his first EP “Wistow Lows” in 2013, his music has been featured in the Bluegrass Situation, he’s been interviewed for NPR, and achieved CBC and Sirius XM radio play, in addition to opening for acts such as Peter Murphy, The Strumbellas, and Daniel Romano. He is set to release his sophomore album “Breaking The Blue Sky” in 2025.
