I’m so excited to announce this legendary event happening at the Hollywood Bowl this year. With a combined eight Grammy Awards and 28 nominations, Gladys Knight and Smokey Robinson stand as undeniable legends of American soul music.

Recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the greatest singers of all time, Gladys Knight first rose to fame in 1961 with the Motown group Gladys Knight & the Pips. Over the next six decades, she delivered numerous number-one hits across pop, gospel, and R&B. While she is best known for timeless classics like I Heard It Through the Grapevine and Midnight Train to Georgia, Knight’s remarkable career includes more than 38 albums along with appearances in film and television. In 2024, she added a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award to her already impressive collection of seven Grammys.

Smokey Robinson has written and performed some of the most unforgettable songs of the 20th century, including You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me and I Second That Emotion. As the frontman of The Miracles and a key songwriter for Motown Records, he also wrote and produced numerous hits for legendary artists such as The Temptations and Marvin Gaye. With a career spanning more than half a century, Robinson’s exceptional talent as both a performer and songwriter earned him induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame—and he continues to inspire audiences around the world.
