What we’re about
An outdoor activities group, primarily hiking, providing positive fellowship while enjoying our Inland Northwest environment of eastern Washington and northern Idaho, including hikes of various ability levels and occasionally other outdoor activities such as flatwater paddling, bicycling, walking, and special events.
Most hikes are at a **Moderate** to ** Challenging** level to maintain physical and mental health. >>Please be certain to review posted event descriptions in order to match your fitness level with the described event. <<
Pay particular attention to the length and terrain description of the walk or hike, to determine your suitability to the course described. Since event participants may have varying abilities, they may not stay together in a group. The hike host will attempt to accommodate individual participants for unexpected issues, but it is the hiker's responsibility to correctly match their ability to the event description. If in doubt, message the event host.
Persons wishing to join Inland Outdoors will be invited to participate in a 'guest hike' to allow that person to determine their match with the group's hiking style.
A member must be of Event Organizer status to Host an event for the participation of members, and
shall post the event on the Inland Outdoors page to allow all members the opportunity to view, and, space allowing, to sign up to participate in the event. The posting and conducting of events shall reflect the good taste and standards of Inland Outdoors.
Members who have signed up to participate in an event should check back occasionally, up to the time of the event, for any additional information and updates.
Inland Outdoors does not maintain a listing of past and/or inactive members...Inactive members are removed for privacy concerns of current membership. Removed members may reapply for membership.
