Welcome to the Inner Light Recovery Discussion Group, a regular peer support gathering where people with psychiatric diagnoses and mental health challenges come together in a safe, compassionate environment to share experiences and connect with one another. This meeting offers an open space to explore everything surrounding mental health, personal challenges, and the continuous journey of recovery. Whether you are navigating a recent diagnosis, managing long-term mental health conditions, or simply looking for an empathetic community that understands, you are warmly invited to join us.

Our discussion is open-ended and shaped by the topics, stories, and insights that members bring to the table. We routinely touch upon everyday coping strategies, managing daily stressors, overcoming stigma, self-advocacy, and celebrating personal milestones—no matter how small they may seem. There is no required reading, homework, or set curriculum; just genuine conversations rooted in mutual support and shared lived wisdom.

In this group, respect, active listening, and strict confidentiality form the foundation of our time together. Everyone is encouraged to participate at their own comfort level. Whether you feel ready to share your story, ask questions, or prefer to sit back, listen, and take in the supportive atmosphere, your presence is valued and welcomed.

Please remember that Inner Light Recovery is a peer-led support network, not a clinical therapy group or psychiatric crisis service. We do not offer medical advice or professional diagnosis, but rather a community bridge where individuals can give and receive peer encouragement on their unique paths toward healing.

We look forward to welcoming you and building a strong, understanding community together. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions before attending, and come as you are to our next gathering.
