What we’re about
Inner Paradise Meetup is for self-healers dedicated to the journey of mental wellness and personal transformation. It is not an open forum for discussion but rather a class on Holistic Psychology to empower you with knowledge that will facilitate your own healing.
Why is Holistic Psychology so important?
What many don't realize, is that we practice elements of holistic psychology in our daily lives: the idea that having the wrong friends, working in the wrong environment, and/or treating ourselves poorly will all lead to poor mental health - are elements of holistic psychology. It considers the whole person—mind, body, emotions, and spirit - and by integrating various aspects of well-being, holistic psychology promotes deeper healing and personal growth.
What you'll gain from this group:
A re-framing of anxiety, depression, suicide ideation, and their causes from a holistic perspective, and how to overcome them without the use of medication; how these 'illnesses' are actually spiritual disorders; understanding how anxiety can lead to depression; the five pathways to depression and how to prevent yourself from falling into it; understanding how following your instincts and listening to yourself can alleviate anxiety and depression; skills/hacks that can alleviate anxiety, boost self-worth, and acquire self-awareness and trust
This group is for anyone who:
- Desires a Whole-Person Approach (interested in addressing not just symptoms but the root causes of distress
- Is Open to Alternative & Complementary Techniques to Healing (interested in nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes as part of healing or willing to explore therapies like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, and breath-work)
- Struggles with Stress, Anxiety, or Chronic Conditions (those dealing with burnout, trauma, depression, or psychosomatic illnesses)
- Seeks Personal & Spiritual Growth (individuals exploring purpose, self-actualization, or existential concerns)
This is a monthly meetup and is conducted online.
I'm an advocate for mental health to be taught in schools. I encourage all participants who are parents, to have their kids (11yo+) attend this meetup.
