## Discussion Themes:

  • So many factors contribute to our happiness and general state of mind but given the fickleness of the external world, inner happiness is our only reliable source for a steady path through life. Learn more in the discussion:

  • What's Happening in your Mind?: How often are you in 'conscious control' of your mind? Are we thinking, or is 'thinking happening'? Conscious, deliberate, wilful thinking leads to success, a smoother life, and avoiding troublesome impulsiveness.

  • Best Friend or Worst Enemy?: The restless mind, at worst, can be an endless babbler of troublesome tales, taunting us, driving some to the edge of sanity. Meditation helps us monitor this powerful tool within us, to make it our servant rather than our master.

  • Conscious Change through Yoga: The way to a more peaceful and efficient life is laid out in the eight-limbed process of the famed Raja Yoga path. It requires observing the timeless and universal basics of leading a moral life but not stopping there. We're urged to continue the process with yoga asanas, breathing exercises, and ever-deepening stages of concentration and meditation, culminating in the superconscious state of Samadhi.
