Study of Chapter 15, Verses 11 - 14:
The Way to the Supreme Spirit
Discussion Themes:
-
BEYOND GOOD & BAD: Vedanta issues a provocative claim: nothing is all good, and nothing is all bad. We live in troubled times where, in absolutist language, and with devious agendas, countries, cultures and religions demean each other, creating division, disharmony, violence and death. All have lost sight, or are ignorant, that, at a deeper level, there is unity.
-
FROM EPHEMERAL TO ETERNAL: The ancient ages discovered that we’re caught up in a cosmic play, hypnotised by the enticing illusion of a divine play provoking us into restless action.
How real our lives seem, how strong our sense of individuality, to which we cling through endless rounds of smiles and tears! But what a remarkable journey it is, with a triumphant, joyous end - the sages say - from the perishable to the imperishable, from the ephemeral to the eternal.
We're a multicultural group of varying ages, including our Vedanta Society members and friends. We always welcome new faces and hear new perspectives.
